Clubs New Zealand Tournament Dates for 2024

The 2024 Clubs New Zealand sporting calendar will be kicking off on January 13th with the South Island Men's Fours Lawn Bowls, hosted by the Papanui Club. Once again we have produced a one page easy to print calendar showing all Clubs New Zealand tournaments by month and by sport.

New Rules around Health & Safety Representatives

The Health and Safety at Work (Health and Safety Representatives and Committees) Amendment Act was passed into law earlier this year. The changes introduced by the new law increase workers’ access to health and safety representatives, and health and safety committees.

Covid-19 restrictions removed

31 August 2023

Earlier this month, Health Minister, Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall announced that all remaining Covid-19 requirements were to be removed effective 12.01am, Tuesday 15 August.

Mandatory isolation for Covid-19 is no longer required. However, the Ministry of Health’s guidance is that people should self-isolate for at least five days if they are unwell, or they test positive for Covid-19. The obligation for the wearing of face masks for visitors to healthcare facilities has also been removed.
