Clubs New Zealand, in partnership with Believe It or Not, is thrilled to announce the launch of the Clubs New Zealand National Quiz Championship 2025, and we’re inviting club members across the country to put their brains to the test.
This is your chance to prove your club has the sharpest minds, the quickest wits, and the deepest trivia knowledge in the country. Along with bragging rights for a whole year, the winning team will earn the prestigious title of New Zealand’s Smartest Club.
How it works
To qualify, teams must:

Be members of a Clubs New Zealand member club.

Compete in at least 10 Believe It or Not quiz nights between 1 June and 31 October 2025.

Register and pay a $100 entry fee to compete in the national final.
Each club can send up to two teams to the final. Each team can have a maximum of 6 members.
The Grand Final
The top teams will go head-to-head in the National Quiz Championship Final on Saturday, 29 November 2025 at the Upper Hutt Cosmopolitan Club.
It’s going to be a day of tough questions, high stakes, and unforgettable fun.
