Club Managers Group

The Club Managers Group brings together managers from Clubs New Zealand member clubs across the country.

Whether you are new to club management or have years of experience, the Group provides opportunities to connect with peers, share ideas, access support, and continue your professional development.

The Club Managers Group exists to:

• Connect club managers throughout New Zealand.
• Provide access to support, advice, and shared experience.
• Encourage professional growth and leadership development.
• Create opportunities for networking and collaboration.
• Promote the interests of managers and the wider club sector.

The Group is supported by Clubs New Zealand and operates independently through its elected Advisory Group.

Club Managers Group Membership

Membership is the Club Managers Group is open to anyone employed in a management role within a Clubs New Zealand member club.

Membership provides access to:

• The annual Club Managers Forum.
• Regional managers' meetings and networking opportunities.
• Professional development and training activities.
• The Club Managers online community.
• A nationwide network of experienced club managers.

Annual membership is $125 per club and covers management staff employed by that club. Members are encouraged to involve senior staff in learning and development opportunities wherever possible.

Events

The Club Managers Group delivers a range of events throughout the year, including the forum, training opportunities, networking events and regional meetings. 

These events are designed to help managers learn from one another, stay informed about industry developments, and build valuable professional connections.

Club Managers Advisory Group

The Club Managers Advisory Group provides leadership and coordination for the Club Managers Group. The Advisory Group works on behalf of members to:

• Identify professional development opportunities.
• Support networking and collaboration.
• Promote issues of importance to club managers.
• Assist with planning conferences and events.
• Provide a channel for managers' perspectives to be heard.

The Advisory Group is made up of elected representatives from both the North and South Islands and works closely with Clubs New Zealand.
