Email marketing mailchimp alternatives
16 June 2023
With the latest pricing structure change initiated by Mailchimp, more clubs are looking for alternative email marketing options. I did a dive into what was still available for free.
If money is no object, the leader in the email mailout space for a number of years now is Mailchimp. They are good and their system works and is generally very reliable. For free you can send up to 1000 emails total per month. So that would mean if you wanted to send one newsletter per week to less than 250 members, and don’t mind a little mailchimp branding then you could do it for free. Otherwise you would need to be on one of their paid plan options.

Applications are now open for the Clubs New Zealand Cyclone Relief Fund
10 May 2023
We would like to remind members that we are currently accepting applications for the distribution of the funds to clubs impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle and the extreme weather events impacting our communities.
Clubs that were impacted or located in communities impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle can apply for funds. You will need to tell us how your club/community was impacted, along with how you intend to use any funds received for the benefit of your members or the community.
Clubs New Zealand Cyclone Relief Fund Applications are now Open
31 March 2023
Following the devastating effects of Cyclone Gabrielle earlier this year, Clubs across New Zealand expressed a desire to offer support to members of the club community. Clubs New Zealand was able to facilitate this support by establishing the Clubs New Zealand Cyclone Relief Fund.
We are very proud to confirm that as of today more than $18,000 has been contributed to the fund by your fellow clubs and their members.
