With the 2026 Clubs New Zealand Conference, AGM & EXPO just around the corner, we're looking forward to welcoming you to the New Plymouth Club.
Registrations will open from 10.00am, Thursday 26th March at the New Plymouth Club. As always the National Office team will be on hand throughout the event to get you registered and answer your questions.
To help you get ready for conference we have prepared some tips, tricks and useful information.
This year's Agenda
This year's agenda is focused on the real issues facing clubs right now, with sessions covering:
- Communication and leadership
- Club licensing and compliance
- The Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act
- Employment and people management
- Financial reporting, controls and compliance
- Membership growth strategies
- Updates from DIA and TAB
- A panel discussion on navigating change from club leaders.

Making the most of it
Conference is more than just sessions. It's an opportunity to connect with other clubs, share experiences and learn from those facing similar challenges. We encourage you to take the time to introduce yourself to others and ask questions, these conversations are often where the real value lies.
Also make sure to experience the Expo, where you'll meet suppliers who understand clubs and can support your operations across a wide range of areas.
Club & Community Awards Dinner - SOLD OUT
We cannot wait to celebrate the inaugural Club & Community Awards at the sold out awards dinner on Friday 27th March at the New Plymouth Club.
This special evening is an opportunity to recognise the incredible work happening across the club community.
A quick reminder to those attending:
- Dress is formal (not black tie, but we do encourage attendees to dress to reflect the significance of the occasion).
- As the event is sold out, we unfortunately won't be able to sell tickets on the day.
Annual General Meeting
The Clubs New Zealand 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 28th March. More information on the AGM including the 2026 Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2025 can be found here.
