Secretary/Manager - Full Time

Renwick Arms Country Club is seeking an experienced and community-minded Secretary/Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our club while contributing to the wider life of the club.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys both hospitality operations and being part of a community focused club environment. The role balances operational hospitality management with administrative oversight and positive engagement with members, staff and the committee.

We are looking for a new Club Secretary/Manager with the following qualities:

• Current Manager's certificate required.
• Proven business acumen with solid financial experience, including developing annual budgets and monthly financial reporting
• Collaborate with the committee to develop and implement strategies to promote and publicise the club, aiming to increase membership and maximise facility usage, while ensuring adherence to all licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Be a competent computer and systems user, especially in Xero, Microsoft Office and social media
• Be motivated to increase sales and revenue with the experience to market the Club and its activities
• Be flexible with commitment to make the hours work for you
• Ability to manage and lead a team of staff including professional development
• Excellent communication skills, paired with a positive, friendly and professional demeanour.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Previous experience in the club hospitality industry an advantage but not necessary
