Pukekohe Cosmopolitan Club - Bar Manager

The Bar Manager is a crucial role here at the Pukekohe Cosmopolitan Club Inc, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar and general Club functions. This full-time position is based in Pukekohe and will involve managing a team of staff to provide an exceptional member and guest experience.

What you'll be doing

1.        Manage and lead the team including rostering, training and performance management

2.        Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction throughout the bar and front of house

3.        Manage bar stock, inventory and ordering to optimise efficiency and profitability

4.        Handle customer and members complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner

5.        Liaise with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement and growth including the implementation of promotions

6.        Maintain compliance with all relevant Liquor and Gaming license requirements as well as all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

1.        Significant experience (3+ years) in a managerial role within the hospitality industry

2.        Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to deliver excellent customer service

3.        Strong financial management skills, including experience in inventory control and cost optimisation

4.        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with customers, staff and management

5.        Thorough understanding of licensing, health and safety regulations in the hospitality sector

6.        Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
