National Raffle Day - Registrations Now Closed
5 September 2025
Circular 25-063 Relevant for Club Committees and Management |
We are very excited to confirm that registrations for National Raffle Day 2025 have now closed. With the support of our member clubs, this initiative will officially go ahead, and we can't wait to see what we can achieve together as a collective.
A total of 48 clubs have registered to participate, that's around 15% of our membership. To those clubs who have put their hands up, thank you. Your commitment to running a raffle between 22-28 September will help raise funds for Club Connect and demonstrate the impact that clubs can have when we pull together.

While we are thrilled to see the enthusiasm from the participating clubs, we also want to be candid, we were expecting a greater level of uptake. National Raffle Day was designed as an opportunity to showcase Clubs New Zealand as a united movement, with the potential to attract media attention and nationwide coverage. With lower than anticipated participation, our ability to tell that bigger story may be limited.
That said, every single raffle being held still makes a difference, and we will be doing everything possible to celebrate and promote the efforts of those clubs who are on board.
National Raffle Day is about more than just fundraising, it's about showing New Zealand what clubs stand for: community, connection and collective action.
Together, let's make this first National Raffle Day a success, and use it as a stepping stone to even greater collaboration in the years to come.
