Clubs New Zealand Club & Community Awards 2027

The Clubs New Zealand Club & Community Awards are back for 2027, providing an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements, innovation and community impact of our member clubs and the people who make them special.

Nominations are now open, and we encourage all clubs to start preparing their entries. Behind every club is a story worth celebrating, a volunteer who goes the extra mile, a programme that strengthens the community, or a team delivering outstanding experiences for members and guests. The Club & Community Awards are about recognising the people, initiatives and achievements that make our clubs thrive, and we encourage every club to take part.

To help you navigate the process, we have created an Award Entrant Guidebook, which provides step-by-step guidance on preparing and submitting your entry. We strongly encourage all entrants to read through the Award Entrant Guidebook before commencing their submission. 

There are eight categories:

• Community Engagement Award
• Club Connect Award
• Club Excellence Award: Small (10-999 members)
• Club Excellence Award: Medium (1,000-4,999 members)
• Club Excellence Award: Large (5,000+ members)
• Spirit of Club Award (Individual Award)
• Standout Gaming Venue Award
• Excellence in Food & Beverage Award

Awards entries are to be submitted online via our Awards portal.

Important Dates

• Monday, 14 September 2026 - Nominations Open
• Friday, 20 November 2026 - Entries Close
• Mid January 2027 - Finalists Announced
• Late Jan - Early Feb 2027 - Anonymous site inspections take place (if applicable)
• Friday, 2 April 2027 - Winners announced at the Club & Community Awards Dinner
