We are excited to invite your club to be a part of the first-ever Clubs New Zealand National Raffle Day, running from Monday 22nd September to Sunday 28th September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for clubs across New Zealand to come together to raise funds for the Club Connect Programme, helping us build stronger clubs and stronger communities, together.

Why a National Raffle Day?

This year, we’ve been delivering Club Connect events across New Zealand in partnership with Lean on a Gate. These events have confirmed what we already knew, there is a real and urgent need to wellbeing and mental health support in communities right across New Zealand.

Club Connect is more than just a mental health talk, our aim is to:

  • Break the stigma around mental health
  • Start meaningful conversations in our communities
  • Equip people with the skills and resources to look out for one another.

Funds raised from National Raffle Day will allow us to:

  • Continue delivering Club Connect events in clubs nationwide, and
  • Take the next step by training ‘connectors’ – people who can spot the signs, have the right conversations, and provide practical support.

Nobody does raffles better than clubs, it’s in our blood! Just imagine the impact and reach we can achieve when we all come together on National Raffle Day!

How it Works

  • Participating clubs runs their own raffles or raffles during Raffle Week (22-28 September).
  • The official National Raffle Day is Sunday 28th September, but your club can choose any day that works best for you.
  • 100% of the money raised goes directly to supporting Club Connect.

How to Register

Once registered, you will receive:

  • A promotional pack (printable posters, social media graphics etc).
  • Tips, tricks and Raffle Ideas
  • Email templates you can send to members.
  • Instructions on how to bank the money raised after your raffle.

Key Dates

  • Register your club by: Friday 29th August 2025
  • Raffle Week: 22-28 September 2025
  • Funds to be banked by: Friday 10th October 2025
