Workplace Health and Safety
There is a benefit to everyone when good safety principles are known and used. This programme provides candidates with an understanding of the relevance of the Health and Safety in Employment (HSE) Act 1992 to them and the personal benefits gained from following the legislation.

DURATION OF THE COURSE:
4 hours (half day)
- The course emphasises these benefits and outlines responsibilities, rights and duties of those identified in the HSE Act.
- Participants put into practice hazard identification processes relevant to their workplace and are involved in activities to assess potential outcomes and correct safety precautions.
- When completed in house for a business, the programme incorporates the company's own policies and procedures as part of the content. Emergency procedures are identified and correct actions highlighted for various scenarios.
