Update on the new National Exclusion Database - CONCERN

18 June 2020

You will recall way back in February we shared details of the new National Exclusion Database CONCERN.  The new system will enable venues access to an online web portal (venue profile page) that will have the option to add exclusions and also accept MVEs and will have a list of all active exclusions for that venue (think much less paper and much faster process).

Final testing is currently underway and the Oasis National MVE Administrator has provided a go live date of 20th July 2020.

Clubs New Zealand is working with the MVE administrator in order to provide some guidance to clubs before it goes live.  We are just waiting on the final tweaks to be made to the system and will aim to get this guidance out shortly.

For those clubs running COMs QEC venue management system the CONCERN database fully integrates with the COMS QEC venue management system, the guardian facial recognition system and the POI tablet.  There is information over on the COMS website https://www.coms.net.nz/concern-database/ including videos to help you become familiar with the process.

If you have any questions in the mean time please get in touch with the team at National Office on 0800 4 CLUBS.
