Travel Update from our Partner Bluebridge: Now Open for Next Summer

Summer may be over but we’re already planning for the next one, and now that our summer bookings (including Christmas) are open your members can too!

We want you to be one of the first to know that we’re now open for bookings right up until 31 March 2022. December to February are always busy on the ferries and vehicle space is in hot demand (especially for longer vehicles). So we recommend your members book early to secure their preferred sailing. If they’re not sure of their travel dates there or back then no sweat. They can change their sailing for free up to one hour before they sail as many times as they need to up to 12 months from their original travel date. They can even spread the cost over four interest-free payments with Afterpay. Plus members will earn Airpoints Dollars™ every time they sail with us so they can start planning their other overseas adventures to Australia and beyond now the borders are open.

For travel from 3 May, you’ll see a few small tweaks to our timetable and some operational changes to Bluebridge’s unique night sailings. Southbound night sailings are still available on weekdays and from 3 May will set sail at 2am instead of 2.30am. Check in by 1am and boarding soon after that. If they’re travelling with dogs, a night sailing is a great choice as they’re more likely to sleep. If early boarding is available we’ll TXT your members the day before. There’s no extra cost for early boarding but if it’s available, members will need to pre-book a private cabin. Sorry, we can’t guarantee early boarding will be available as it depends on what time the ship arrives in Wellington and operational requirements.

It would be great if you can pass this update onto your members. If they booked before 3 May for travel from 3 May we have emailed them an updated eticket so they are aware of any tweaks to their sailing time and the revised check-in time.
