Travel Update from our friends at Bluebridge
9 July 2020
Our friends at Bluebridge have been in touch and are thrilled to hear about all the club events being re-planned to help members reconnect and enjoy a shared passion. Bluebridge will continue to give your members better value fares every day to help them get across Cook Strait.
Since moving to Level 1, there has been no shortage of Kiwis keen to travel, which is fantastic for domestic tourism. So Bluebridge are delighted to let you know that they’ve just added extra space and more sailings in time for the start of the July school holidays to help more Kiwis explore the other island. Both of their ships are now sailing again on their full winter schedule. They’re back to 50 sailings a week from downtown Wellington to the Sounds (and back). If your members are heading south during the week, the popular night sailing with the sleeper service is also available again.
While social distancing is no longer required, members can rest assured that their ships and terminals will continue to be cleaned even more regularly than usual and hand sanitiser is still freely available. If your members would still prefer their own space they can pre-book one of the private cabins with ensuite. As a precaution, when members check-in they will be given a disposable boarding pass. There is also a QR code that they can scan to enable easier contact tracing if required. They can now accept cash but recommend cashless payments in the terminal and on board the ships.
They’ve resumed table service for their range of meals freshly prepared by onboard chefs and the delicious winter menu is now available alongside barista made L’Affare coffee and other hot and cold drinks.
New happy campers deal: save 20%
Bluebridge want to play their part in helping Kiwis do something new and see more of their own backyard. So this awesome offer is for members who own their own camper or have snapped up one of the great hire deals. If they set sail with their motorhome, caravan, 5th wheeler, or other home on wheels by 31 October 2020, they’ll save 20% on the whole booking! They’ll get the discount off any of Bluebridge's fares types – including the lowest Saver Sail fare. If they take the kids they’ll save even more with our family discount on top! Offer ends 31 July. Terms and conditions apply.
There’s still time for members to win their money back
The winter roadie competition is still running and Bluebridge will draw more lucky winners in July and August. To be in to win your members just need to use their CLUBSNZ promo code when they book for travel from now until the end of August. They’ll automatically be in to win the cost of their ferry fares back plus $300 Z fuel. Each monthly draw will include everyone who has booked during that month. Terms and conditions apply.
