The dates for the next Back to Basics Managers course have been set for Tuesday 30th and Wendnesday 31st July 2019. This is likely to be the only Basic Managers Course of 2019 so if you are getting started or looking to refresh we highly recommend you book your spot now.

The training is run in house by Clubs New Zealand National Office staff and is aimed at “upskilling” Managers who would like to improve their knowledge around “compliance” issues and obtain a detailed understanding of the various components clubs traditionally earn revenue from. Some of the topics are:
- Who is Clubs New Zealand and what we can assist with via our website or in person,
- Basic accounting requirements for your club – Audits, Gaming accounts, “KISS”,
- Legislation that effects your club - The Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, Incorporated Societies Act, Food Bill etc.,
- Gaming – best practices,
- Business Partners – making them work for your Club.
