Save the date for the first Back to Basic's Managers Training of 2019

The dates for the first Back to Basic's Managers Training for 2019 have been set. The training will be held over Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd May 2019. If you are new to club management or want to refresh the basics please contact Michelle Mazey to secure your spot by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
The training is run in house by Clubs New Zealand National Office staff and is aimed at “upskilling” Managers who would like to improve their knowledge around “compliance” issues and obtain a detailed understanding of the various components clubs traditionally earn revenue from. Some of the topics are:
- Who is Clubs New Zealand and what we can assist with via our website or in person,
- Basic accounting requirements for your club – Audits, Gaming accounts, “KISS”,
- Legislation that effects your club - The Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, Incorporated Societies Act, Food Bill etc.,
- Gaming – best practices,
- Business Partners – making them work for your Club.
We will shortly finalise the agenda for the training and release this on our website.
