Clubs New Zealand Nominations for Office

Nominations for Office are now open. The Clubs New Zealand constitution requires that we appoint/confirm the following officers:
- 1 x President
- 1 x Area Board Member (13 areas)
The Board recommend that the Board Members elected at the AGM of the Association on Saturday 21st March 2020, shall continue to hold office and be Officers of the Association accordingly until the conclusion of the AGM of the Association that is to be held in March 2021 in Christchurch at which time an extraordinary election will take place.
This varies from the current constitution for the purposes of a potential change in Board Structure. If the pending remit fails, then the President will explain the next steps.
I am now calling nominations for each of the positions for the period 2020 - 2021. All current officers are eligible for re-election but must be nominated in accordance with the rules.
Your club is entitled to propose or second nominations for the position of President and your Area Board member. When doing so please ensure that the nomination is approved by your committee and that the form is then signed by yourself as President of the Club or in your absence by an appointed officer.
The form must be completed with the signature and details of the Proposer, Seconder and Nominee before being returned to this office by the closing date, 4.00 pm Monday, 20th January 2020.
Nominations for all positions close at 4.00 pm Monday, 20th January 2020.
