Join us for the Clubs New Zealand 2025 Conference, AGM & EXPO, taking place from March 21 to 23, 2025, at The Richmond Club in Christchurch.

Conference is the highlight of the Clubs New Zealand event calendar, featuring a lineup of speakers who will share their insights, expertise and experiences. In addition to our keynote sessions we will have updates from DIA and TAB.

Meet our Speakers

  • Simon Martin
    As a Partner and head of the Employment team at Quigg Partners in Wellington, Simon brings over 15 years of experience in employment law. He advises a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to multinational entities and public sector organizations. Simon regularly represents clients in mediation and has appeared in various courts, including the Employment Relations Authority and the Employment Court. The employment law landscape is rapidly changing, Simon will share insights into legislative changes that you need to be aware of.

  • Paul Allan
    Serving as the CEO of Club Taree, Paul is renowned for his innovative approach to community and team engagement. Under his leadership, the Club Taree Community Team has raised over $1 million and contributed more than 12,000 hours of volunteer labor to the Manning Valley community. Paul will share his insights on building connected communities and fostering positive change within the club industry. 

  • Rebecca Kinraid
    A communications specialist with over 15 years of experience in public relations and digital communications, Rebecca has managed communications for large international corporates, strategizing social media campaigns and promoting product launches. She is a multi-award-winning public relations professional, recognized for her work on the Hornby Club’s redevelopment. Rebecca will share her approach and insights into marketing strategy as well as exploring crisis management.

  • Club Panel
    This session hosted by Conference MC, Keith Ballantyne brings together representatives from Rangiora RSA, New Plymouth Club, Richmond Club and Glenview Club, each offering unique perspectives shaped by their club's size, history, and resources. From overcoming challenges to celebrating successes, our panelists will share their experiences in navigating the evolving club landscape. Whether you're looking for fresh ideas, practical solutions, or simply an opportunity to connect with like-minded peers.

Event Highlights

  • Friday, March 21:
    Kick off with the Hospitality Expo, showcasing industry supporters and suppliers, followed by a fun Bingo Session and a Welcome Function.

  • Saturday, March 22:
    Engage in a day packed with thought-provoking presentations from our fantastic line up of speakers, culminating in the Conference Dinner—an opportunity to network and unwind.

  • Sunday, March 23:
    Conclude with the Clubs New Zealand Annual General Meeting, reflecting on 2024 and looking ahead to the future.
