The 2020 Conference, AGM + EXPO is fast approaching!  The agenda is almost complete and by now you will have by now seen the elective speakers; Tom Collier, of AMC Currency Management, Alastair Sherriff, of Buddle Findlay and Michael Quigg, of Quigg Partners - all experts in their fields, who are going to deliver quick fire, in depth workshop sessions.  For this years keynotes we will be welcoming back some familiar faces with new ideas such as Hon Tracey Martin, Nick Brabham, Anthony Ball as well as Duane Mutu from Let's Play Live to explore the world of e-Sports.  We are excited to say the least!

Below you will find information on how to register.  As we have mentioned previously there are some slight changes being made to the format of the conference which you should familiarise yourselves with before completing the registration form.  As always if you have any questions in the lead up to conference or regarding registration please contact the team at National Office on 0800 4 CLUBS.

Thursday 19th March 2020 - Expo, Registration and Entertainment

Following feedback from both previous years exhibitors and delegates we are making a slight adjustment to the expo hours.  The Clubs New Zealand Hospitality Expo will be starting at 12.00pm at Club Hastings this will give exhibitors plenty of time to get set up, it will also give attendees plenty of time to travel to Hastings and register for conference.

The difference this year is that the expo is going to go LATE! The expo will be open from 12.00pm till 9.00pm and incorporate the evening welcome function.

The Expo day will feature great exhibitors (of course), chances to win and lunch.  As expo will only run on Thursday 19 March we are asking all attendees to ensure that your travel arrangements allow you to arrive at Club Hastings by 12.00 on Thursday 19 March 2020.

Friday 20th March 2020 - Full Day Conference and Entertainment

This year the Elective Workshops are back by popular demand. The Workshops will be half hour sessions focusing on specific areas of club business. There will be no additional cost to attend the elective sessions, but we will be asking each attendee to indicate what elective sessions they will be attending at the time of registration – we will have details of the elective sessions prior to opening registration so you have plenty of time to see what sessions are right for you.

After the elective sessions lunch will be provided before we launch into an afternoon of keynote speakers.

After a full day of conference, delegates will be treated to another fantastic Clubs New Zealand cocktail function.  Again there is no additional charge to attend the cocktail function.

Saturday 21st March 2020 - Clubs New Zealand 2020 Annual General Meeting and Entertainment

Saturday will run as usual for the Clubs New Zealand 2020 Annual General Meeting.  The detailed agenda for the AGM will be sent out in the New Year.

ELECTIVE SESSIONS

The 2020 Conference will feature three elective sessions on Friday morning. There is no additional cost to attend these sessions, however, you must select which sessions you will be attending at the time of registration.

On the registration form you will see a tab called “Elective Registration”.  After you have completed the registration details and travel details for your clubs’ attendees you will be able to choose the elective sessions each attendee wishes to attend.

CONFERENCE COCKTAIL FUNCTION

Following the conference on Friday 20th March, Clubs New Zealand and Club Hastings will be hosting a Cocktail Function.  All conference delegates and partners are invited to attend the cocktail function, however, you must select to attend the cocktail function at the time of registering for the conference.  You will find the option to attend the cocktail function under the elective registration tab on the registration form.

*The Partner Registration will entitle partners to attend the meet & greet functions that are organised in conjunction with the Clubs New Zealand Conference & AGM including the Conference Cocktail Function. Partners wishing to attend the Conference & AGM including conference sessions will need to register as a delegate under either the Committee or Management Registration type.

HOW TO REGISTER

An email will be sent out to all clubs with a unique link to complete your club’s registration form.

 

Below is a quick step by step guide to completing the registration form;

 

  • The forms will be pre-populated with your club’s key contacts.
  • For each person select YES or NO from the drop-down box in the “Attending” column to indicate whether that person will be registering for Conference & AGM.
  • In the “Registration Type” column select the most applicable registration type for each person who is attending the Conference & AGM.
  • If you need to register people who are not already on the list, select Add Registrant and complete the details as required.
  • Once you have completed all your attendee’s information select the Travel Details tab to enter the travel details. Once you have entered the travel details for the first person you can tick the box to copy the travel details if everyone is travelling together.
  • Next click on the Elective Workshops tab and select which workshops your attendees will be attending.
  • You can save the registration form at any time if you are not quite ready to submit and come back to it later (just make sure you do not delete the email, so you have access to the link).
  • Once you have completed the registration form hit “Submit Registration” and you are all done.

PLEASE ENSURE ALL SECTIONS OF THE REGISTRATION FORM ARE COMPLETED BEFORE SUBMITTING THE FORM.  TRANSPORT CANNOT BE PROVIDED FOR DELEGATES IF WE DO NOT KNOW YOUR TRAVEL DETAILS

On submitting your club’s registration form you will receive an email confirming that your registration has been received. Once your registration is confirmed an invoice will be generated and sent to your club’s primary email address.
