6 March 2019
The count down to the Clubs New Zealand 2019 Conference, AGM and Expo is well and truly on. The Tauranga Citizens Club, Clubs New Zealand Board and National Office team are looking forward to welcoming all those registered in two weeks time. This years agenda is packed and aimed at ensuring that there is a wide range of topics. In addition to the presentations we have the Clubs New Zealand expo which is once again proving to be a popular option for both attendees and exhibitors, please make sure you head to the Tauranga Citizens Club as early as possible on Thursday 21st March to ensure you get the most out of this awesome opportunity.
It wouldn't be a Clubs New Zealand conference if there wasn't ample opportunity to let your hair down, enjoy a catch up with friends and network. Each day the agenda features social events including the Conference Cocktail Function. The cocktail function is an elective social event and you will have indicated your attendance at the time of registration. All those attendees who have selected the Conference Cocktail function will receive a ticket on arrival in Tauranga. Please keep this ticket safe as it is your entry into the cocktail function + on the night you could win your conference registration fee back!!!
As always in the lead up to conference we like to shine the spot light on the fantastic line up of speakers who will be joining us. This week we would like to introduce Clyde Fernandez, Regional Sales Director, SalesForce who will be taking us on a journey into the 4th Industrial Revolution
Clyde Fernandez is a career technologist, who has spent decades working in the Financial Services in Australia, working for IBM Australia, Asia & in the UK and now works for Salesforce, where he leads a team focused on positioning how the value of the Salesforce Platform can help customers connect with their customers, partners, employees and other stakeholders in whole new ways.
Given the 4th Industrial Revolution is here, how should organisations orient themselves to meet the stakeholder;s or in the case of clubs, members expectations and concerns? Clyde is joining us at the Clubs New Zealand 2019 Conference to explore what the 4th Industrial Revolution is, why it is important now, how you club can prepare and what key actions you should be doing today!
In his spare time, Clyde likes to share his perspectives on a broad range of topics, including; "The future of the work", "How to succeed in a constantly growing VUCA world" and "Why Equality and Ethics matter, more than ever".
Clyde has been with his partner Paula, for over 38 years and enjoy staying connected with their 3 adult sons, with Sunday family dinners still remaining the highlight of his week.
