Following on from Hon Simon Powers media statement "Starting point for alcohol law reform introduced to Parliament" which was released on Monday, we now have the Alcohol Reform Bill  avaliable to view here 2.29 Mb  

It is expected that the bill will be before the select committee prior to Christmas, at which time Clubs New Zealand will table a submission on behalf of its members. 

Reminder: Clubs New Zealand currently has an Alcohol Law Reform survey running on clubsnz.org.nz and we ask that all clubs participate.  Your comments will help enormously in ensuring that the united voice of chartered clubs is heard.  Everyone who completes the survey will go in the draw to win one of 5 Clubs New Zealand umbrellas.
