A club has recently brought to our attention that while filing their off-licence renewal they discovered one of the licence conditions was dated, "Only permitted to sell or supply to members of the club only".

The member of course applied for a change of conditions, and the local DLA advised that there were others in the same boat, and was something that could cause issues if dropped into the wrong hands.

This change has been around for some time now, and should have been picked up on previous licence renewals.  As it is a recommendation of the Law Commission to prevent all future Clubs from having an off-licence (with only those already holding off-licences being able to retain them) it is important that your licence is upto date, and you have full understanding of your licence conditions.
