We have just been informed that the last day Wellington City Council will be accepting Special Licence Applications for the Rugby World Cup is tomorrow 17th June.  This could be a similar story for councils around the country.

We urge those clubs who are looking at obtaining a special licence for the Rugby World Cup to make contact with your local councils immediately to ensure you haven't missed the deadlines. If you do miss the deadline for requesting a special licence you may be required to apply for a Rugby World Cup Licence which may be difficult to have approved and have far more stringent conditions attached.
