The old saying goes that the only certainties in life are death and taxes. To make matters worse there are a handful of taxation types and regular changes relating to taxation that you should be aware of.
Clubs New Zealand has prepared a short guide to tax implications for clubs, which covers;
- Income tax
- Goods and services tax
- Schedular Payments and withholding tax
- Resident withholding tax
- Gaming machine duty
- Fringe benefit tax
Clubs New Zealand recommends that clubs regularly seek assistance from their accountant or adviser regarding tax and refer to the latest Inland Revenue 'Club or Societies Return Guide -IR9GU' (renewed annually) for assistance.
A copy of the tax implications for clubs - 2014 will also be loaded into our resource room for future downloads.
