Department of Labour - Guidelines for the safety of staff from the threat of robbery
As the threat of robbery for cash handling businesses always increases over the Christmas and New Year period, this is the perfect time for Clubs to ensure they have clear policies and procedures in place and that staff understand how they should conduct themselves during a robbery, not only to ensure the safety of the staff but of your members and customers.

The Department of Labour have released an updated version of their guidelines for the safety of staff from the threat of robbery which can be downloaded by
clicking here 220.12 Kb. In the guidelines you will find practical guidance in devising policies and procedures to deter potential robbers and advice on how to minimise the effects of a robbery on staff.
