Applications for the 2011/12 Clubs New Zealand Training Scholarship have been coming in, and with just over a week left if you or your staff haven't got an application in NOW IS THE TIME TO DO SO.
These scholarships are open to all Clubs and their staff, and are designed to help ignite the drive for learning and excellence within Clubs. So whether you already have a successful track record of training or are looking at starting out we encourage you ALL to get your applications in!

Clubs Kick Start Scholarship This scholarship is designed to help ignite the passion for learning within a club. Value: $1,000 Who can apply? Any Clubs New Zealand Member Club Conditions: Winning club must begin an HSI recognised programme (run within the club or by an accredited provider) within 6 months of winning the scholarship. Clubs Achiever Scholarship This scholarship will be awarded to a club employee who can show that they are passionate about the club sector and want to further their career. Value: $1,500 Who can apply? Any Clubs New Zealand member Club employee Conditions: Winners must begin an HSI recognised qualification within 6 months of winning the scholarship. Clubs Career Starter Scholarship This scholarship will be open to club employees aged between 16-21 who want to become a modern apprentice in Cookery, Food & Beverage or Food Service, and is designed to give the successful applicant the best start in achieving their career goals. Value: $1,000 Who can apply? Any club employee aged between 16-21 Conditions: Winners must apply for a Modern Apprenticeship within 6 months of winning the scholarship. Get the application form: |

Clubs Step Up Scholarship This scholarship is open to employees who are currently in a management or supervisory role or looking to move into a management or supervisory role. Value: $1,500 Who can apply? Any club employee who is currently working in a management or supervisory role or looking to move into a management or supervisory role Conditions: Winners must begin an HSI recognised qualification within 6 months of winning the scholarship.
