Registrations for the 2012 Conference & AGM are NOW OPEN

That's right preparations are well under way for the Clubs New Zealand 2012 Conference and AGM being hosted by the Kamo Club.

The conference will be following the same format as Westport 2011, and you can download a copy of the draft programme by  clicking here 74.53 Kb.  To register simply complete the  registration form 110.36 Kb and return it to Clubs New Zealand National Office by Friday 2nd March 2012.  Please note that all travel details must be provided to Clubs New Zealand National Office on the registration form if you wish for transfer to be arranged between Whangarei Airport and your accommodation.

Sightseeing Tours

Kamo Club have also put together three fantastic sightseeing tours to show off of the norths history and beauty.

You will start this journey by heading north viewing the world famous artwork of Hunderwasser, and visiting Alpacas on the way. Enjoy a glass of wine and lunch amongst the breath taking scenery of the Bay of Islands. Observe the history of Paihia and Waitangi: and do not forget the delightful shops to be explored along the way. If time permits we will also take the ferry to Russell.

Cost: $70 per person (includes lunch and refreshment, morning&afternoon teas, ferry tickets.)

TRIP 2 - Saturday 24th March

thumb_whangarei_town_basinThis is your chance to experience Whangarei with this tour around our town.

First stop our Town Basin – a marina, with a cluster of interesting colonial style restaurants, cafes, specialty shops and classy arts and craft and our famous Clock Museum, maybe a local market takes your fancy!

Visit our city centre with its shopping mall and creative copper trees and bronze plaques depicting the local history. View our city from the top of Parihaka, and finish your tour with a visit to our spectacular Whangarei Falls.

Cost: $15 per person

 TRIP 3 - Sunday 25th March

Are you staying in Whangarei another day before heading back home? This could be a chance to see the far north that you may never get again. This tour is for ALL delegates AND partners to relax and enjoy the North.

Come along on our trip to One Tree Point, Marsden Cove Marina and Marsden Point Refinery Visitor Centre: this features a working scale model of the refinery, with sound and light show.

Then it's off to the amazing Matakohe Kauri Museum a MUST for guys AND gals! Matakohe tells the fascinating story of the pioneering history of the North through the use of Kauri timber and gum. Find out about the men and women who came to New Zealand and formed the basis of our cultural history: European and Maori.

Cost: $80 per person (includes morning & afternoon teas, lunch, entry to museum).
