You will all by now know that applications for the 2011/12 Training Scholarships are now open, and many of you will be thinking about encouraging employees to apply or thinking about applying yourselves.

Because it can sometimes be tough to identify who is ready to kick start their career's we have produced a poster which is available to download by clicking here 330.88 Kb, we ask that all Clubs display this poster in your staff areas to let your employees know about the scholarship opportunities available to them.

The four scholarship opportunities are;   

Clubs Kick Start Scholarship This scholarship is designed to help ignite the passion for learning within a club.

Clubs Achiever Scholarship This scholarship will be awarded to a club employee who can show that they are passionate about the club sector and want to further their career.   

Clubs Career Starter Scholarship This scholarship will be open to club employees aged between 16-21 who want to become a modern apprentice in Cookery, Food & Beverage or Food Service, and is designed to give the successful applicant the best start in achieving their career goals. 

Clubs Step Up Scholarship This scholarship is open to employees who are currently in a management or supervisory role or looking to move into a management or supervisory role.
